Pecan Delights
Pecan Delights is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1 c. margarine or butter, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a large saucepan, combine the first four ingredients.
Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Gradually add milk and mix well.
Continue cooking until candy thermometer reads 248Β° (firm ball stage).
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla until blended.
Fold in pecans.
Drop by tablespoons onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam.
Chill until firm.
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in microwave.
Drizzle over each cluster. Cool.
