Pecan Coconut Bars
Pecan Coconut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, 1 c. sifted flour, 2 eggs and 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter with 1/2 cup brown sugar.
Add 1 cup sifted flour gradually and mix until smooth.
Press and flatten to cover the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
Add 1 cup brown sugar, vanilla, baking powder, 2 tablespoons flour and salt.
Stir in pecans and coconut.
Spread over baked pastry and return to oven.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer or until topping is golden brown.
