Pear Nut Bread
Pear Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 bartlett pears or enough to make 2 c. grated pears, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Coarsely grate pears to make 2 cups.
Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
Add oil, sugar, lemon peel, vanilla and grated pears.
Mix thoroughly.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to pear mixture, mixing until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into 3 medium greased loaf pans.
Bake in 325Β° oven for 50 to 60 minutes until done.
