Pear Honey
Pear Honey is an easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. ripe pears (9 c.), 1 c. crushed pineapple, grated rind and juice of 1 fresh lime, lemon or orange and 5 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Wash, pare and core pears; slice before measuring.
Chop fine. Combine pears and pineapple.
Add rind and juice.
Add sugar and cook over slow heat, stirring frequently.
Cook 20 minutes.
Pour into sterilized jars to within 1/4-inch of top.
Put on cap and screw band firmly.
Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes. Makes 8 half-pints.
