Pear Honey
Pear Honey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9 pears, 5 c. sugar, 1 can crushed pineapple (202 can), rind of 1 lemon and 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Chop pears fine or put through grinder.
There should be 5 cups.
Put in large pot.
Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.
Cook over low heat 35 to 40 minutes, stirring constantly. Fruit should be clear and liquid thick.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal by processing in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Makes 6 pints.
