Peanut Patties
Peanut Patties is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 c. white karo, 1 stick margarine and 1 lb. peanuts, shelled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Put sugar, water and Karo in large pan.
Let boil over medium-high heat until it comes to a full rolling boil.
Add peanuts and food color.
Boil to hard ball stage.
Remove from heat; add salt and margarine.
Beat 5 to 7 minutes until it begins to thicken.
Pour into buttered or sprayed (using Pam) small aluminum tins or pour onto cookie sheet and break into pieces when cooled.
