In a large saucepan, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Blend in peanut butter; stir in cereal.
Pat evenly into a square pan.
In a small saucepan, melt oleo and brown sugar.
Remove from heat; add milk and vanilla.
Stir in powdered sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Spread over cereal mixture.
Cut into squares and enjoy.
