Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1/4 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 c. raw spanish peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Place all ingredients except soda in iron skillet over medium heat.
Boil, stirring constantly.
Cook until mixture smells scorched, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir with wooden spoon.
Take off heat and add soda.
Stir quickly.
Spread on buttered cookie sheet.
Let cool; pop out of pan and break in pieces.
