Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. white sugar, 1 1/2 c. white syrup, 2 c. raw peanuts, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In heavy iron skillet, mix sugar and syrup; cook, while stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in raw peanuts and cook (on medium-high heat) until mixture turns brown and peanuts start popping.
Remove from heat; add salt and soda.
Stir as little as possible to get mixed.
Pour on buttered cookie sheet.
Let cool; break into pieces.
