Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. water, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white syrup, 2 c. raw peanuts and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Bring water to a boil.
Then add sugar and white syrup.
Stir until dissolved and boil until it will spin a thread.
Now add peanuts and cook slowly over a low fire until it turns a golden brown.
Take from fire and add butter, soda and vanilla.
Stir quickly.
Spread on 2 large cookie sheets, well buttered.
Set in cold place.
When set, break apart.
