Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. karo syrup, 1/2 c. hot water, 2 c. raw peanuts and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix sugar, Karo, water and peanuts together in a heavy skillet.
Cook until golden brown and until the peanuts begin to pop, approximately 30 minutes.
Remove from fire and add the vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Add soda and stir vigorously.
Pour onto a well-greased sheet pan.
Spread as thin as possible.
When cold, break into pieces.
