👨‍🍳 Instructions

Put sugar, corn syrup and water to dissolve.

Place on fire and bring to 250°.

Then add butter and nuts and keep stirring until nuts are thoroughly cooked or to 300°.

Take off fire and stir in soda and salt.

Stir quickly until it foams up.

Pour out on buttered marble.

When cool enough, turn batch over and stretch and pull.

Make it very thin.

When cool, store in airtight jars or tins.
