Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. planters salted peanuts, 2 c. white sugar, 1 c. white corn syrup, 3 tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar, syrup and water in a heavy 3-quart pan.
Mix and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Cook until mixture reaches 285°.
Remove from heat at once.
Stir in peanuts and margarine.
Return to heat, stirring, until mixture reaches 295°.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Stir to blend (fast).
Mixture will foam.
Pour on large buttered baking sheet.
Break in pieces when cold.
