Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cup white corn syrup, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 lb raw peanuts and 2 t butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine syrup, sugar and water in heavy saucepan.
Bring slowly to 230° or until syrup spins a thread.
Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300°.
Stir to prevent burning.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla, soda and salt and stir until blended. Pour into well buttered cookie sheet.
When cool, break into pieces.
