Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. water, 1 c. butter/margarine and 2 c. peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a 3-quart saucepan, heat together sugar, corn syrup and water, stirring until sugar dissolves.
When syrup boils, blend butter/margarine.
Stir frequently.
Add peanuts when temperature is 200°.
Stir constantly to hard-crack stage, 305°.
Remove from heat; stir in soda.
Mix well.
Pour into 2 buttered cookie sheets.
Loosen from pan.
When hard, break into pieces.
