Mix sugar, syrup and water and bring to a boil.

Add raw peanuts and cook on medium-high about 10 minutes; until peanuts begin to pop or caramelize, then take off stove.

Add soda, then stir rapidly and pour on greased 13 x 20-inch long pan.

Let cool rapidly.
