Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. light karo syrup, 1/2 c. water, 2 c. broken peanuts and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a large saucepan cook sugar, syrup and water until it reaches hard ball stage (250Β°).
Add peanuts and cook until golden brown.
Add butter and vanilla.
Stir until well mixed.
Add soda and stir well.
Do not stir too long after adding soda.
This is the secret of this candy.
Pour onto a buttered marble slab. Yield
2 pounds.
