Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. dark karo syrup, 1/4 c. cold water, 1 tsp. butter and 1 c. unsalted raw peanuts (small spanish preferred), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Boil sugar, syrup and water until thread is spun on spoon, about 238°.
Add butter, peanuts and vanilla.
Cook until peanuts begin popping, about 290°.
Remove from heat.
Add soda and stir quickly.
Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet with sides.
When cold, break by hitting the candy with a metal tablespoon.
Do all stirring with a wooden spoon.
