Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1/4 c. boiling water, 1/2 tbsp. soda and 2 c. raw peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put sugar, Karo syrup and boiling water in a large heavy skillet; bring to a boil.
Add raw peanuts and cook until nuts pop or turn orange color.
Add paraffin.
When it is melted, add soda. Stir until it has puffed up.
Pour at once onto a well buttered baking sheet.
Spread thin to cool.
Break into pieces.
