Peanut Brittle

Cook sugar, corn syrup and water until thermometer reaches 236°.
Add peanuts and cook slowly until thermometer reaches 294°. Remove from heat and add soda and salt and mix well.
Pour into well-buttered jelly roll pan.
When cool, break into pieces. Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
