Boil sugar, water and corn syrup (Karo) until threads.

Add butter and peanuts.

Cook slowly to 300Β°.

Add vanilla and baking soda.

(Stir quickly because it foams up.) Spread onto 2 greased cookie sheets.

When cool, break into smaller pieces.

Makes 3 pounds.
