Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. uncooked peanuts, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1/2 stick oleo or butter and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix sugar, butter and syrup together and cook to a rolling boil.
Then add peanuts.
Cook until peanuts start to pop.
Then cook 5 minutes.
Turn off heat, add baking soda and vanilla.
Pour in well-greased cookie sheet.
Cool, then break and eat.
