Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. water, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white syrup, 2 c. raw spanish peanuts and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Bring the 1/2 cup of water to a boil.
Add sugar and syrup. Stir until dissolved and boil until 240° on candy thermometer. Now add peanuts and cook to 300° on thermometer.
Immediately add butter, baking soda and the vanilla.
Stir quickly.
Spread on well buttered cookie sheets.
Place on a cool area, then break into pieces.
