Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raw nuts (any kind of nuts), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2/3 c. white karo syrup, 3 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix syrup, sugar and nuts.
Cook over medium heat in iron skillet until honey colored.
Peanuts will begin to pop.
Remove from heat.
Stir in soda and vanilla.
Return to heat and beat vigorously.
Pour onto greased (buttered) cookie sheet.
Cool and break.
