Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. white sugar, 1 c. karo syrup, 1/2 c. water, 1/2 stick oleo, melted and 12 oz. unsalted peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix salt and soda together and set aside.
Cook first 3 ingredients to a hard ball stage.
Add peanuts, cook to a hard crack stage (350Β° on a candy thermometer).
Remove from heat.
Add melted oleo and salt and soda mixture, stir quickly and pour in sheet pans.
Let cool and crack into chunks.
