Bring to a rolling boil the sugar, syrup and water.
Slowly add peanuts, keeping a rolling boil until peanuts pop and brown (hard crack stage, 290Β°).
Remove from heat.
Add soda and salt. Pour onto a foil lined cookie sheet.
