Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white syrup, 1/2 c. water, 1 lb. raw peanuts and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine sugar, syrup, water and peanuts in a heavy pan.
Bring to a rapid, rolling boil.
Boil until a drop of water crystallizes or approximately 5 to 7 minutes, until golden brown.
Add butter, vanilla and soda.
(This will foam up.)
Stir mixture then pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.
Then break into pieces when cooled.
