Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. raw shelled peanuts, skins on, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/8 tsp. salt, optional and 1 tsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine peanuts, sugar, syrup, and salt in a 1 1/2 quart microwave safe container.
Microwave 4 minutes on high in a 700 watt microwave oven.
Stir, microwave 4 minutes longer.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Microwave 2 more minutes on high.
Add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy.
Immediately pour onto lightly greased baking sheet.
Spread to 1/4 inch thickness.
When cool, break into pieces.
Store in air tight container.
