Peachy Macaroon Cake
Peachy Macaroon Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Drain peaches and set aside.
Cream butter or margarine and sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and extract.
Thoroughly mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat into creamed mixture.
Spread dough into a greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Arrange peach slices on top of dough; sprinkle with almonds.
Bake 1 hour or until golden brown.
