Peach Dumplings
Peach Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 peaches, peeled and pitted, 4 c. flour, 3 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, shortening and milk. Roll as for pie dough and cut into squares.
Wrap each square around a peach.
Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Make the following syrup and pour the dumplings.
Bake at 375Β° about 45 minutes.
