Payday Bar is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box rice chex cereal, 2 1/2 c. peanuts, 2 c. light corn syrup, 2 c. white granulated sugar and 2 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spray 2 cookie sheets with Pam.
Mix cereal and peanuts. Spread across the cookie sheets.
Put corn syrup and sugar in microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir until mixed well.
Heat in microwave for 4 minutes longer.
Mix peanut butter and vanilla into syrup and sugar mixture.
Pour over cereal and nut mixture. Cool.
