Beat the egg whites with the salt and cream of tartar.

Slowly beat in the sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.

Pour into spring-form pan lined with wax paper.

Bake 30 minutes at 300°, 30 minutes at 250° and 90 minutes at 200°.

It is important to follow this method completely.

Leave in oven overnight.
