Patio Salad
Patio Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. frozen green peas, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 1/3 c. minute rice and 3/4 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Add frozen peas and salt to water in saucepan.
Cover.
Bring quickly to a full boil.
Then add Minute rice.
Stir with a fork to moisten all rice; cover and remove from heat.
Let stand 13 minutes.
Add mayonnaise, pickle and onion, mixing with fork. Chill.
Before serving, add ham and cheese.
Serve on crisp lettuce with a ring of tomato wedges.
Serves 6.
