Pastry Shell(9-Inch) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. shortening, cold, 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, cold and 4 to 5 tbsp. ice water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Cut in shortening and butter until mixture is very coarse.
Sprinkle water, one tablespoon at a time, over flour, tossing with fork until mixture cleans sides of bowl.
Make a ball.
Wrap airtight and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Roll out on floured board.
Place in 9-inch pan. Refrigerate until ready to use.
