Pastel Pound Cake

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each addition.
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
Pour half the batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Sprinkle with marshmallows.
Top with remaining batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Cool completely.
Dust with confectioners sugar.
