Made with 1 (1 lb.) box rigatoni, cooked in salted water until tender and drained, 1 lb. hot italian sausage (in bulk, not links), 1 large onion, chopped, 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced and 1 large red pepper, seeded and chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute sausage and onion in heavy skillet. Stir in mushrooms and red pepper. Saute over medium heat until sausage is well browned. Stir in tomatoes and red wine.
