Party Salad
Party Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, 1 c. chopped pecans, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon jello, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Add enough boiling water to pineapple juice to make 2 cups and dissolve jello in it.
Mix salt, pimento and cream cheese together and add to hot jello gradually.
May soften cheese in microwave.
When it begins to thicken, fold in drained pineapple, celery, 1 cup chopped nuts and whipped topping.
Pour into mold or salad bowl and chill to set.
