Parmesan Strips
Parmesan Strips is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf sliced white bread, 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/4 lb. butter, melted, 6 tbsp. mayonnaise and 6 green onions with tops, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cut crusts from bread.
Cut each slice into strips.
Spread 1 side of bread strip with butter.
Place under broiler and toast lightly on both sides.
Mix other ingredients and spread on buttered side of bread.
Pour Parmesan cheese in a shallow bowl and dip each piece (spread side down) in the cheese. Freeze.
To serve, thaw slightly and broil until brown and bubbly.
Watch carefully.
Makes 130 strips.
