Parmesan Broccoli is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 20 oz. frozen broccoli (or cauliflower or 1/2 each), 3 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook broccoli until nearly done.

Fry onion in 3 Tbsp. butter.

Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

Add milk and cook until boiling, thickened and smooth, stirring constantly.

Beat egg yolk lightly and add about half of the hot mixture to it gradually.

Add rest of hot mixture and then cheese.

Lay vegetables in a buttered casserole and pour sauce over.

Mix melted butter and bread crumbs with a fork.

Sprinkle all over.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees or until crumbs are lightly browned and mix.
