Parkerhouse Rolls
Parkerhouse Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 4 level tsp. rumford baking powder, 2 level tsp. sugar, 1/2 level tsp. salt and 2 level tbsp. crisco or lard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix as for Rumford Biscuit (see recipe).
Roll to 1/3-inch thickness; cut with a round or oval cutter and crease in the center with the handle of a case knife (table) first dipped in flour.
Brush 1/2 with melted butter and fold over.
Put on a pan 1/2-inch apart and bake in a quick (about 400Β°) oven for 15 minutes.
