Paradise Peach Surprise
Paradise Peach Surprise is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1/2 c. melted butter and 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine flour, sugar and pecans.
Add margarine; mix well. Press this mixture in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 25 minutes at 350Β°.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Fold in the Cool Whip.
Spread over the cooled crust.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water. Chill to consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
Put peach slices over cheese mixture.
Spoon chilled gelatin over peaches.
Cover and chill until firm.
This may need adjusting; for some ovens, 25 minutes is too long.
