Panocha is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. brown sugar, 1 c. milk, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. nut meats, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Put sugar and milk in heavy pan. Cook to soft ball stage, 238Β°.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Cool, without stirring, until lukewarm.
Beat until creamy. Stir in broken nuts and pour into buttered dish.
