Panhandle Casserole
Panhandle Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot sausage, 3 cans (4 oz. each) green chilies, 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese, 1 1/4 lb. grated monterey jack cheese and 9 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown sausage.
Drain.
Layer sausage, cheeses and chilies in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Mix eggs, milk and flour until well blended.
Pour over layered mixture.
Decorate top with chili strips in lattice design.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
