Oyster Stew
Oyster Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. shucked oysters, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk, 1 c. light cream and dash of bottled hot pepper sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a medium saucepan, combine the undrained oysters and salt. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes or until oysters curl around the edges.
Stir in milk, cream and hot pepper sauce.
Heat through.
Season to taste.
Sprinkle each serving with paprika; if desired, top with a pat of margarine or butter.
Makes 4 main-dish servings.
