Oyster Stew
Oyster Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. milk, 4 soda crackers, crushed, 4 tbsp. butter, salt and pepper to taste and 1/2 pt. fresh oysters, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat milk until almost to a boil.
Add crackers, 4 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper.
Bring to a scalding point (do not boil). Add oysters and cook until edges curl (just a few minutes). Ladle soup into bowls.
Swirl 1 teaspoon of butter into each bowl. Serve immediately.
Yields 4 servings.
