Oyster Rice
Oyster Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. sausage, 1 pt. oysters, 1 bell pepper, 2 c. cooked rice and 1/2 lb. hamburger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook onion, garlic and bell pepper.
Cook slowly in a little wesson oil for about 10 minutes.
Add ground beef, sausage, salt and pepper.
Continue cooking slowly, stirring often until it begins to brown.
Add drained oysters and let cook for 20 minutes or until most of the water from oyster is gone.
Drain, then add rice to mixture.
Blend well.
