Oyster Dressing
Oyster Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 qt. coarse white bread crumbs, loosely packed, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. rosemary, 1/2 tsp. thyme and 1/2 tsp. tarragon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Pull crumbs from crusts of 3 or 4 day old bread.
Disregard crusts.
Add salt, seasonings and pepper; toss.
Melt margarine, add celery and onion.
Saute until just softened, then stir in oysters.
Pour over bread crumbs with chicken stock.
Mix lightly with fork or hands.
Put in 8 x 11 x 2-inch baking dish and cook, uncovered, in 350Β° oven for one hour.
Yields 6 servings.
