Oyster Chowder
Oyster Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. oysters (undrained), 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/3 c. butter or margarine and 4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Drain oysters, reserving liquid.
Saute onion and celery in butter in a large pot until tender.
Add milk, oyster liquid, corn, potatoes, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated (do not boil).
Add oysters; simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until edges of oysters curl.
Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
Yield
8 cups.
