Overnight Salad
Overnight Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head shredded lettuce, 1/4 c. frozen chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1 pkg. frozen green peas (not cooked) and 2 sliced tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Layer the first 4 ingredients in a bowl; do not stir. Refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, top with the tomato, eggs and the mayonnaise, mixed with Parmesan or mild Cheddar cheese (spread over top).
When serving, reach spoon to bottom of bowl to get all layers.
Serves 8 to 10.
