Made with 1 lb. ground beef or italian sausage, 1 (32 oz.) jar prepared spaghetti sauce, 1 c. water, 1 (15 oz.) container ricotta cheese or well drained cottage cheese and 2 tbsp. chopped fresh chives, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat and drain.

Add spaghetti sauce and water; blend well.

Simmer 5 minutes.

In medium bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, chives, oregano, and egg; mix well.

In bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, spread 1 1/2 cups sauce, top with half of lasagna noodles, half of Ricotta, top with half of the Mozzarella.

Repeat layers.

Top with remaining meat sauce; sprinkle with Parmesan.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.
